We take necessary and appropriate security measures to prevent and remedy leakage, loss or damage of personal information. If an incident occurs, we promptly take corrective action.

We respond promptly and sincerely to complaints and inquiries regarding the handling of personal information.

We establish, implement and maintain a personal information protection management system that conforms to JIS Q 15001, and continually improve it.

We use personal information within the scope of the following purposes.

(1) People who contact us: to respond to and contact them about their inquiries, and to propose or introduce related Kewel services

(2) People who request materials (such as white papers): to send the materials, respond to inquiries, and provide information about Kewel services

(3) Job applicants: to conduct the recruitment process (document screening, scheduling interviews, notifying results, etc.); if hired, for onboarding and employment management

(4) Contact persons at business partners (medical institutions, companies, etc.): to conclude and perform contracts, communicate on business matters, and provide and introduce Kewel services

(5) Users of Kewel services (radiologists, users at medical institutions, etc.): to register and manage accounts, verify identity, provide, operate and improve services, and contact users

(6) Personnel (including officers, employees and contractors): for employment and HR management, business communication and safety management

(7) Personal information entrusted to us by medical institutions and others (medical images, clinical information, etc.): to perform the entrusted services within the scope defined in the contract with the entrusting party

We do not provide personal information to third parties without the prior consent of the individual, except as required by law.

We may outsource all or part of the handling of personal information to the extent necessary to achieve the purpose of use. In that case, we select contractors that meet an adequate level of protection and supervise them appropriately, including by contract.

The personal information in items (1) to (6) of section 3 is retained personal data held by Kewel. The individual or their agent may request notification of the purpose of use, disclosure, correction, addition or deletion, suspension of use or erasure, suspension of provision to third parties, and disclosure of records of provision to third parties ("Disclosure, etc.").

How to make a request: Please email the desk in section 8. We will send you a request form. Please complete it and submit it together with a copy of an identity document (such as a driver's license). If an agent makes the request, please also submit a document confirming their authority (such as a power of attorney).

How we respond: After confirming identity, we respond without delay in writing or by electronic means.

Fees: We do not charge fees for requests for notification of the purpose of use or for disclosure.

We handle the personal information in item (7) of section 3 according to the instructions of the entrusting party. Please direct requests for Disclosure, etc. to the entrusting medical institution or other party.

(1) Basic policy: We have established this Personal Information Protection Policy to ensure proper handling of personal information.

(2) Handling rules: We have rules covering each stage (collection, use, storage, provision, deletion and disposal), including handling methods and the responsibilities of those in charge.

(3) Organizational measures: We have appointed a Personal Information Protection Manager, defined who handles personal information and to what extent, and set up a reporting system for incidents such as leaks. We periodically review and audit our handling.

(4) Human measures: We regularly train personnel on handling personal information and set out confidentiality obligations in our work rules and similar documents.

(5) Physical measures: We control the areas where personal information is handled and take measures to prevent theft or loss of equipment and electronic media.

(6) Technical measures: We implement access control, identification and authentication of users, protection against unauthorized access and malware, and encryption of communications.

(7) Understanding the external environment: When handling personal data in a foreign country, we take security measures after understanding that country's personal information protection system.

Kewel is not currently a covered business of any accredited personal information protection organization.

We collect personal information through the following forms. Each form displays our notice on the Handling of Personal Information before submission, and we collect information only with your consent.

• Contact form: name, email address, organization, department/title, how you heard about us, and your inquiry

• White paper request form: name, email address, organization, department/title, job category or industry, topics of interest, questions or requests, and whether you wish to receive updates

• Job application form: name, email address, desired position, resume, work history (CV), and message

Form submissions are sent over an encrypted connection to a server managed by Kewel and delivered to the relevant team.

To understand and improve how the Site is used, we use the following external services. Through cookies and similar technologies, user information such as IP address, browser and device information, referrer, pages viewed and time spent is sent to each service provider.

• Google Analytics (provided by Google LLC): used to analyze access to the Site. Information is collected and processed in accordance with Google's policies.

• BowNow (provided by Cloud Circus, Inc.): used to understand visits for marketing purposes.

These tools use cookies but do not include information that directly identifies individuals, such as names.

You can disable cookies through your browser settings. If you do, some features of the Site may not work correctly.

For Google Analytics, you can stop data collection by using the Google Analytics Opt-out Browser Add-on provided by Google.

We may revise this page in response to changes in laws or our business. Revisions take effect when posted on the Site.
